SMM Presentation.

SMM Presentation On 7/1/2015

We had a SMM Presentation on 7/1/2015 for the case study of local company and overseas company which are LoveByte(Local) and Couples(Overseas).

I worked together with Yang Ping and Amanda to work on local company which is LoveByte while Yak Siong and Yenn are working on the overseas company which is Couples.

For my part, I am researching about the Facebook Page of LoveByte in terms of their cover photo, profile photo, most engagement post and their engagement with the followers, responses to them.

Firstly, I talked about the cover photo of LoveByte Facebook Page.Their cover photo is nicely done as it shows 2 iphone displaying the user interface of LoveByte and the background is the displaying heart shape balloon showing the "love is in the air", showing their company objective of creating more loving relationship in the world. Their profile picture also will change accordingly, during the Christmas season, their profile picture is showing a boy and a girl wearing a santa hat while after the season is over, the page admin will change the profile picture, showing a boy and a girl, with the removal of the santa hats.


Secondly, I talked about the most engaging post in their Facebook Page,which is shown below. The reason of why this post got the most engagement(541 likes, 58 shares and 38 comments) is because this post is relate-able to the followers. I used the wrong key word while presenting this part of presentation, i used the word "Appealing" to answer why the post got the most engagement but Miss Dora corrected me with the correct word which is "Relate-able". I definitely realize my own mistake and need to be extra careful on that.

Thirdly, I also talk about the type of post the admin had posted on their Facebook Page. Most of the posts are always in the form of pictures and texts, which are love quotes that inspire couples to stay stronger and bonded in their relationship. Their posts are always very interesting and meaning to the couples and also relate-able to them as well.
Lastly, i ended Local case study of LoveByte by addressing their improvements and what i can apply in our SMM group projects. In General, we need to post contents which are more relate-able to the followers of Between Facebook Page such as love quotes and other contents which catches their attention. There are many improvement of LoveByte to better their social networking platform, one of the improvement they can make is stop posting quotes or texts picture on Instagram, they can post a photo of a pair of loving couples and do the quoting and text on the caption itself in order to show curiosity and catches the attention of their followers to view or like the pictures.
