Ngui Yak Siong - Practical 5 - Social Media Analytic for my SMM Project

My team choice of social media platform was Facebook and so I will be using Facebook insights to analyse the company social media data.

Post Reach




From the graph we can see that our average reach was higher for the month of February, One good reason for this could be the amount of post that was posted for the two different month.

Another observation made was post type, post that are links generally have more reach than photo types this could be due to people curiosity to read more or find out more about the post or they found the post interesting after reading and wants to shared it with their friends which increases post reach. Another interesting point is that if a particular post has more engagement their the rest it will surely reach out to more audience.

From this analysis we can know that to get more post engagement we can have more post types which are of links to get people to engage with our page.

People Engaged




This post shows the people engaged by our post, our post appealed to the female sex more then the male and there's a 3 percent of female who isn't of our fans being engaged maybe due to the fact that there are shared post by our fans. Our post also tends to have people of age 18-24 being more engaged to our post, this shows that the post for the month of February and January the post content are contents that youngster generally like below are a few example of what this kind of post are:



From this we can also see from this are that young couples mostly are interested to know of new places to eat and visits with their dates. 

From this analysis we can draft up more content which can relate to couples like giving suggestion to improve their dates.
